Cactus & Tropicals Midvale
We’re excited to introduce you to our newest location in the heart of historic downtown Midvale, right on Main Street. Our shop is steeped in rich history, dating back to 1911. Originally opened as a saloon, it was forced to reinvent itself during Prohibition, becoming Vincent Drug. The iconic sign still hangs proudly above the main entrance to this day.
Over the years, this location has transformed—from a saloon, to a drug store and beloved soda shop. At one time, it even was known to be the greatest soda fountain in the state! It’s also made its mark in film history, appearing in the classic movie The Sandlot!
With so many changes and chapters behind it, we’re honored to continue the story of this special place. We look forward to becoming a part of its ongoing legacy.

Our second location, built in 2006, is contemporary and spacious, with a soaring glass ceiling and sweeping valley views. Botanical displays including a live plant wall keep it fresh and inspiring.
Located on the east bench of Draper, Utah, this beautiful greenhouse and nursery space was designed to create a memorable shopping experience in a garden setting.

Built in 1978, our flagship greenhouse and nursery nestled in the cozy Millcreek neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, is a small local store with expansive appeal.
Mature plants grow throughout, enriching the lush, vintage feel of the space. No visit is complete without spending time at the year round outdoor koi pond. Come be inspired!
