THE TIMELINE
THE TIMELINE
one month before:
Your 50% non-refundable prepayment and signed contract are required to book your event. This amount will be applied to your final balance. If either the prepayment or contract have not been secured, please contact ar@cactusandtropicals.com to secure your date.
We have placed your floral order with our growers and are securing each item for arrival. The production team is scheduled and they’ve met with the designers to review all of the details, from flowers to delivery or pick up times.
Due to the above items, revisions to your order cannot be made within 30 days of the event – we do our best to accommodate emergent changes, but additional charges apply.
two weeks before:
The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full. Cactus & Tropicals will contact you for your final form of payment. Please contact ar@cactusandtropicals.com with any payment inquiries.
Cancellations within two weeks are non-refundable.
two days before:
The flowers will be arriving for us to inspect and process. During the processing, Cactus & Tropicals reserves the right to make substitutions if the flowers we receive from our suppliers are not of the quality or color suitable for your occasion. In this situation, the integrity of the proposed color scheme will be maintained, and flowers of equivalent value will be used. You will be notified of any necessary adjustments.
Our production team will meet with your designer one more time and begin the build process. We are excited to see your big day come to life. This includes preparation of any rental items that may be specified in your proposal. .
the day of:
After final inspection, the floral items will be prepared for delivery, pick up or on site installation.

We understand that last minute requests pop up and while we always do our best, we are very limited in what can be accommodated day of. Additional charges apply for last minute requests not specified on proposal.
after the event:
All rental items noted on the final proposal will need to be returned within 3 business days to either store. Cactus & Tropicals can pick up the items for an additional fee. Any broken, damaged, missing, or late returned items will be charged to the credit card on file at retail replacement value. An itemized list of rental items will be included in your proposal.
